Sapporo Premium Beer is a German Pilsner style lager, brewed with a single hop variety for refined bitterness and delicate floral aromas. Golden in colour with a subtle malt character, the rich creamy foam gives way to a perfectly balanced flavour with a crisp, clean finish, for complete refreshment.

A wonderfully drinkable interpretation of a classic English ale. Bookbinder is a blend of four malts combined with two classic Nelson grown European hops (Fuggles and Riwaka). The beer pours an attractive reddish brown, with a cream coloured head. Bookbinder has a sweet, perfumey, malt and hop aroma with a soft, malty, fruit and vinous palate that is both full flavoured and refreshing with a long, gently drying finish.

A New Zealand interpretation, Cassels Double Cream Milk Stout is intensely rich, strong and malty with a creamy, almost velvet texture. A full bodied stout with dark mocha and chocolate aromatics. This Double Cream Milk Stout contains a non-fermentable lactose sugar derived from 100% pure New Zealand milk.

Far North Chili Pilsner is Northland in a beer. A classic New Zealand-style Pilsner with a heroic dose of McLeod's fave Kiwi hot sauce, it's all capsicum, surf and summer out of the gate. McLeod's take on an English-style Brown Porter, Pioneer is an award-winning beer that blends a proprietary malt list to a delicious end. Using a classic English ale strain imparts lovely fruity esters, both 'bready' & lively, with subtle cocoa & toast on the palate for a simple-yet-satisfying brew. Balanced, as always, & delicious. That's what beer's about, right?

McLeod's Scottish Wee Heavy or Strong Scotch Ale melds their house English ale yeast with rich, caramel-laden malts rounded out with a touch of rye. A unique Scotch Ale, it's the perfect tribute to Waipu's immigrant Scottish traders & a moreish brew whatever the season.

The craze for haze seems endless. So, to slake the thirst of McLeod's 'unfiltered' friends, they brewed another cloudy ale! And this one's a beaut, showcasing two of favourite US hops: Talus & Mosaic. Floral, dank & fruity, the question when you crack into it isn't "What's there to love?" but "What's NOT to love?"

It's not just chefs who like working with the freshest ingredients. The Emerson's brewers couldn't wait to get their hands on the latest crop of fresh Motueka hops from the greenthumbs at Garston Hop Farm. After harvesting, they're rushed from farm to brewery, and straight into the kettle. The extra-fresh cones give the XPA an extra-lively lemon and lime flavour, with background notes of tropical fruit, and a lovely hop oil texture. You're sure to give it a double green thumbs up.

This low riding Rivi is a sassy sister sittin' on bags. Likes the finer things in life and has a hard-working hot rod honey to provide them. One Ms Starry-Moon. Once the only pinup in the beauty salon now lights up a stage in swing skirts and pettis or denim, leather and leopard. Together these two glitter with their hearts of gold. Coz, you can't take it with you when you go!

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson's first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints.
