A snout-smackingly good, weighty and crisp Chardonnay, with flavours of citrus, nectarine and pineapple and a lovely toasty finish.

In Stoneleigh's Marlborough vineyards, sunstones absorb sunshine during the day, radiating heat onto the vines at night, resulting in their distinctly vibrant wines. Stoneleigh Classic Chardonnay displays ripe stonefruit and pear aromas with hints of toasty oak.

An organic wine grown in living soil. This Chardonnay wine is a true reflection of the grape. Clean and vibrant, a pure expression of New Zealand nature. This wine exhibits bright citrus and ripe stone fruit aromas entwined with subtle notes of clove and oakspice. The palate is fresh and vibrant with ripe flavours of juicy peach merged with nutty lees and ginger highlights. A fresh and elegant Chardonnay with some depth of stone fruits, nutty lees and oak flavours on a fresh, fine textured palate.

The wine has delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and long, persistent finish. A small portion of this wine was barrel fermented and then lees stirred for 4 months. After 6 - 8 months maturation in French oak, the wine was blended and bottled.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

Right in the heart of the magical Waihopai Valley, a million miles from anywhere, lies The Ned, one of Marlborough's most famous peaks. The Ned Chardonnay - A fruit driven Chardonnay with white nectarine and loquat aromas elevated by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and lightly toasted brioche. The palate is plush and creamy from the near full malolactic conversion, swathed in warm French oak spice with fine acid tension on the finish.

This Nelson Chardonnay displays aromas of lemon zest, ripe nectarine and subtle flinty, mineral notes from use of French oak. On the palate flavours of white peach, bright citrus and notes of toasted hazelnut take this medium bodied and elegantly textured wine to a lusciously long and persistent finish.

Sourced from our Te Awa and Soler Vineyards, and fermented using a natural 'Pied de Cuve' started in the vineyard, this Chardonnay reveals a fragrant nose of ripe stone fruit and citrus blossom with subtle notes of baking spice provided by fermentation in French Oak. The wine is matured 'sur lie' (on yeast lees) adding further richness and texture prior to bottling.

This wine is fruit-driven in style, exhibiting ripe peach with underlying citrus blossom and fig characters. On the palate, these flavours are enhanced by a creamy texture and a delicate suggestion of oak. A medium bodied Chardonnay that is styled for enjoyment upon release with or without food.

In its youth, this concentrated wine is pale in the glass and displays aromas of white fleshed stone fruit, flowers, biscuit and hazelnut. Intricate barrel fermentation influences meld with stone fruit and acidity on the palate, forming a refined marriage of style and length. Cellar this wine with confidence for up to 8 years from vintage.
