Fuji Whiskey was born out of a joint venture in 1972 between Kirin Brewery, Chivas brothers and Seagram and Sons - The distillery uses snowmelt water from the nearby Mount Fuji in their whisky. The rich fruitiness and subtle spiciness are the character of Fuji Single Grain, a symphony of three different styles of grain whiskies: Light grain Scotch whisky style; Medium grain Canadian whisky style; Heavy grain Bourbon whiskey style. The nose opens with fruity aromas of raspberry and orange marmalade, layered with the sweetness of pound cake, leading to a mellow palate of white grape, orange peel, and raspberry, and finishing slightly sweet with notes of oak and gentle spice.

A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.

Arboralis is matured until it achieves its signature complex elegance from which The Glen Grant has been celebrated for over 180 years. Aged in ex bourbon and ex Spanish sherry oak casks, Arboralis delivers notes of creamy toffee and ripe pears, finishing with a long, satisfying hint of delicate spice.

Balancing smoky intensity with Glen Moray's classic Speyside smoothness, this dram is a fascinating introduction to peated whiskies. It begins with barley which, unusually for Glen Moray, is dried in a peat-fired kiln, for hints of smoke. Uniting this peated barley with their traditional malted barley, the craftsmen distill a lightly peated spirit threaded with distinctive campfire notes. Aged in American oak casks for undertones of vanilla and oak, this smoky single malt reveals a new dimension to Glen Moray.

Lots of sherry and fruit in this, Glenfarclas 12 was originally bottled for export and travel retail markets. In 2006, it was named the Best Sherried Whisky in the Single Malt World Cup, and in 2007 and 2008 it won Gold at the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival.

The Glenfiddich 12YO bears all the hallmarks of Glenfiddich's Speyside signature style, one that has made it the world's most awarded single malt. Matured in the finest Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks for at least 12 years before being uniquely married in oak tuns for up to nine months to develop exceptional harmony and complexity of flavour. In the glass, a distinctive fresh and fruity nose with a hint of pear followed by a palate of butterscotch, cream, malt and a subtle oak. Serve neat, with water (to bring out the flavours), over ice or in cocktails.
