First made in 1982, Awatea continues to represent the best of the classic Hawke's Bay Cabernets/Merlot blend. Floral aromas with intense blackberry, currant and dark plum flavours lead to a rich, supple palate with a sustained finish. Awatea will continue to evolve in bottle for ten years from harvest.

Bullnose is a dark ruby colour with aromas and fl avours of violets, black cherry liqueur and spice, intermingled with notes of prune and raspberry. The rich, full flavoured palate displays velvety, even tannins.

Coleraine is New Zealand's most famous red wine, first produced in 1982, this classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc displays the concentration, complexity and elegance found in the world's finest wines. A deep, brilliant crimson with a vibrant purple core, Coleraine '24 opens with an alluring bouquet of fresh roses, cassis, dark cherries and blackberries. Layers of dark chocolate, nori, black olive and subtle cedar add complexity, while lifted florals and a savoury coastal nuance enhance its depth, precision and beauty. On the palate, a concentrated wave of red and dark fruit flows over velvety, cocoa powder textures, as expansive, silky tannins weave seamlessly through the wine. This enormity of scale is highlighted by a fine, focused acid line that drives through to a finish of exceptional length. With immense power held in delicate restraint, Coleraine '24 is destined to unfurl over decades.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

Aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry and star anise. The palate is soft and pillowy with a racing-stripe of boysenberry ripple through it. There are dark roses, raspberries, and notes of sandalwood and liquorice.

Vibrant guava and vibrant passionfruit on the nose give way to gooseberry, coriander and aniseed on the palate - rich, complex botanicals that add alluring detail to this wine.

This Syrah includes a touch of Viognier, a traditional winemakeing technique in France's Rhone Valley. It introduces a delightful floral aroma and supple texture to Syrah's spicy dark berry flavours.

For TWR's main blend of Pinot Noir they prefer the flavour profiles from the southern side of Marlborough - this sub-region is called the Southern Valleys or Southern Clays. The soil types in this area of Marlborough are much older than the Wairau flood plain, they also have much lower fertility and a much higher clay component which gives the wines more depth and structure.

Bright violet purple, with good depth. Blackberry and plum fruit flavours dominate upfront. It then leads with some spicy notes of cinnamon and clove.

A big, bold Shiraz with rich, ripe spicy plum and blackberry flavours balanced by soft, gentle vanilla characters.

In your wine glass this stunning Central Otago Pinot Noir is vibrant with ruby red and purple hues. On the noses you'll find fresh dark cherries, hints of spice and an elegant waft of thyme. The palate again rich with Central Otago cherries and nuances of chocolate, intertwined with wild thyme and alluring earthy notes.

The Landing Port is richly fruited and seriously complex, the aroma rewards with dried cherry, apricot, toffee and roasted nut characters. The palate is wonderfully rich, backed by silky-sweet texture and rounded mouthfeel. A soothing fortified wine.
